Dr. Elior Kinarthy, PhD

DR. ELIOR L. KINARTHY entered the investing world at age fifty-five by default when his father, David Kinarthy, a Los Angeles architect and writer, passed away in 1991 and left him a small mutual fund account at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter.

After earning his BA in psychology from UCLA in 1968 and his PhD from USC in 1976, Dr. Kinarthy’s career took off in the predictable direction. For many years, he was a college professor of psychology and parapsychology, counselor, and researcher. He was a psychological consultant to the National Enquirer magazine for ten years, a member of the city of Whittier Mental Health Advisory Board, a member of the United Nations Association of California, and a moderator for the Foreign Policy Association of Washington DC. He is a well-known speaker, and his ideas about personal relationships appeared in print many times.
